December 3, 2009 - Flaming Lips & Friends To Perform “Dark Side of the Moon”

The Flaming Lips and friends will be performing Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon” on New Years Eve in Oklahoma City. I just watched “The Wall” again over the weekend, and I was once again reminded of just how great Pink Floyd’s music is. It’s funny I got an email about the Lip’s show, because I was actually considering doing a one man show of “The Wall”. Now it’s not such an original idea.

December 1, 2009 - The Hellfire Club

Scott had suggested to me that I should do a post about the Hellfire Club. The Hellfire Club is a was the popular name for a number of supposed exclusive clubs for high society rakes established all over Britain and Ireland in the 18th century. The club name influenced me in coming up with the band name The Hellfire Villainy. I wanted something that had an actual conspiracy related to it. The Hellfire Villainy really seemed to fit the bill.
